Getting Started
Welcome to Formspace! This guide will walk you through the basics of setting up your account and creating your first form.
Create an account
Section titled “Create an account”- Head to app.getformspace.com and sign up with your email, or sign in instantly with Microsoft or Google.
- Verify your email address.
- Complete the quick setup by entering your name and optionally naming your Formspace (organization).
- You’ll land on your dashboard — you’re ready to go!
Create your first form
Section titled “Create your first form”- Click New Form in the top-right corner of the forms list.
- Use the form builder to add fields — text, multiple choice, dropdowns, ratings, file uploads, and more.
- Drag and drop fields to reorder them, and click any field to configure its properties and validation.
- Switch to the Theme tab to customize colors and styling to match your brand.
- Your changes are auto-saved as you work.
Publish your form
Section titled “Publish your form”- Switch to the Publish tab in the form builder.
- Click Publish to make your form live.
- Your form is now accessible on your Formspace subdomain at
https://{your-slug}.forms.space/{form-path}.
Share your form
Section titled “Share your form”Once published, you have several ways to share your form with respondents:
- Copy the link — Click Copy URL on the Publish tab to grab your form’s direct link.
- QR code — Generate and download a QR code that links to your form.
- Embed — Get an HTML
<iframe>snippet to embed the form on your website. - Invite — Send email invitations directly from Formspace to specific people.
You can also configure access controls to determine who can respond — from fully anonymous to invite-only.
View responses
Section titled “View responses”As responses come in, head to the Submissions tab in the form builder or click the response count on any form card. You’ll see a full table of responses that you can sort, filter, and export to CSV.
